What should the child bring to the class?
All classes at IICA include all of the food, packaging and tools necessary. You just need to bring one apron for the class. Please tie long hair back. Bangs that get in the eyes should be held back with a hat or headband of some sort. Wear sneakers/comfortable shoes!
Can the child take one class or does he or she have to commit to a series of classes?
The course structure is designed to build on skill and therefore require a commitment to the series. In case of special circumstances you can opt for a single class. Best bet is to call and discuss!
How long do classes run?
Our cooking classes run for two and a half hours, including around two hours of cooking time in the open-plan kitchen. These cooking classes are hands-on and intimate, ensuring a fun, educational experience in the kitchen. You then sit down at the end and share the massive feast!
Do you provide the recipes to take home?
You will receive a printed copy of the recipe at the beginning of the class.
Can I come and not cook?
The parent or guardian can attend the session for an additional charge of Rs. 500.
